I slept in late this morning. It drizzled a little last night and everything is a bit damp. The fresh cool air drifting into my bedroom thru my open windows was more than welcome by me. After a long hot summer I am excited to see an overcast sky and little drops of water all around.
I have a million things I could do today: cook, clean, sew, pay some bills, pick up a birthday gift for my niece, mail out a few late swap items...but instead I am sitting here in my sewing room just looking out the window. Everything seems so calm and peaceful right now. I dont want to mess that up.
I think I will wear my pajamas all day and make a big pot of warm soup for the family. Other than that, I might finish up a couple of little dolls that I have been working on for the Harvest Craft show next weekend.
A lazy Saturday, that's what this is.
